i wonder…

if conservative Christians looked at same sex marriage as a civil liberty would their stance change?

if they separated what marriage means to them as a Godly ceremony from secular marriage, would that change anything? 

as people that fight for freedom of religion, isn’t in their nature to fight for civil liberties?

don’t persecutions against the early Church ingrain the value of a government that protects all interests of religions rather than the interests of certain ones.

does the future of the American church rely on protecting civil liberties of all?

i have no clear answers, as this has never crossed my mind before.  maybe some of you do.
